Materials

A fine chain (10 links– 2 cm); a 12 – 14 mm eye pin; earring hooks; a ring with a 12 mm base

Tools

A 0.20 mm nylon line; a thin needle; scissors; glue for non-absorbent materials

Procedure

Step 1

The earrings

Alternately string 8x PB and 7x R. Start with the PB.

Step 2

Create a ring out of three "squares" of PB and R. Thread the line through the 4th R. This will create the 1st "square". String 1x PB, 1x R and 1x PB. Create the 2nd "square". String 1x PB, 1x R and 1x PB. Thread the line through the side R from the 1st "Square". Tie off the line.

Step 3

Thread the line through the nearest PB and R behind the knot. String 1x PB. Thread the line through the R between PB. String 1x PB. Thread the line through the R between the PB (be careful, as it has already been threaded through multiple times).

Step 4

Thread the line through the PB and R at the other edge of the circle. Add a further 3x PB as in Step 3.

Step 5

Cut off the necessary length of the chain. Put an FPB onto an eye pin. Grasp the protruding section of the wire between the points of the needle-nose pliers. Twist it around the points of the pliers. String the end of the chain onto the end of the chain prior to closing the eye. Attach an earring hook to the other end of the chain.

Step 6

Place the hung FPB in the hollow of the earring between 3x PB from the 4th step. You can sew through the PB and R one more time. Sew in the line.

Step 7

The ring

Steps 7 - 9 - are the same as Steps 1 - 3 for the earrings.

Step 10

Sew another 2 R to each of the R on the other edge of the circle. Sew in the line.

Step 11

Glue the "prickles" to the base of the ring.
