Material

A 40 cm fine chain; a carabiner; a counter-ring; 4 mm and 6 mm rings

Tools

A thin needle; a 0.20 mm nylon line; scissors; snipping pliers; flat nose pliers

Step 1

Place an R stop bead at the end of the line. Thread the line through it one more time. String 2x R and 8x P onto the line with 7 sets of 3x R between them. String 2 more R (the red line) behind the last P.

Step 2

Continue according to the drawing (the green line). Always thread the line through the R next to the P. String new P above the 3x R between the P. When adding beads under the P, string 1x R each time. After adding the 15th P, remove the R stop bead. Thread this end of the line through the outer R at the beginning of the sewn circle. String 1x P (the 16th P) onto part of the line using the needle. Tie off both ends of the line.

Step 3

Reinforce the internal circumference. String 1x R between each of the protruding R. Once all the R have been added, connect the circumference by once again threading the line through the initial R. Sew it in. Hide a simple knot between the R (a loop that has been threaded through once). Hide the double knot in a hole in the P (a loop that has been threaded through twice). Thread both ends of the line through several R and P. Cut them off.

Step 4

Snip off 40 cm of chain. Attach the carabiner and the counter-ring to the ends using 4mm rings. Thread the ring through the central hole and close it. You can also insert a 6 mm ring across the R between the P. In this case, thread the chain through and only then close the fastening.
