Materials

A regular 0.24 or 0.30 mm nylon wire; a magnetic clasp - about 40 mm (an internal cavity of 35 cm); glue for non-absorbent material

Tools

Snipping pliers; a ruler; flat nose pliers (use them to help tighten the knot)

Procedure

The length of the assembled bracelet is about 17.5 cm. You can adjust the length as required; finish the stringing earlier or otherwise extend it. Always finish the shorter sides with a T2. You can create your own color mix from the T1. It is possible to change the number of shades. The bracelet consists of four interconnected parts, each strung on about 1.10 m of wire. The edges are glued into the clasp.

Step 1

Cut off about 1.10 m of wire. String 2x T2 onto it. Move them into the middle of the wire. Thread one end of the wire through 1x T2 one more time. Always tighten the wire gently, but firmly.

Step 2

String 1x T1 onto one end of the wire. Also thread the second end of the wire through the T1. At the same time, reinforce them by gently threading the wire through the T2 and T1 again.

Step 3

String 6x R and 1x T1 onto one end of the wire. Also thread the second end of the wire through the T1.

Step 4

String 1x T1 onto one end of the wire. Also thread the second end of the wire through the T1.

Step 5

String 6x R and 1x T1 onto the opposite end of the wire than in Step 3. Also thread the second end of the wire through the T1.

String 1x T1 onto one end of the wire. Also thread the second end of the wire through the T1.

Step 7

Continue until the wire is used up (don't forget the tightening of the knot). Alternate Steps 3 and 5. Add 1x T1 between them as in Step 4. Tie off the ends of the wire with two knots.

Step 8

Thread a new wire through the last T1 from Step 7. Move it to the centre of the wire. Continue according to Steps 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Step 9

The bracelet is edged with 18 arches along the longer sides (9 on each side). The shorter sides are completed with 2x T2. Don't forget to sew in the last T1 and the following T2 one more time. Pull the ends of the wire into the nearest T1 or T2. Put both ends of the wire from the same knot into the same T1 or T2. Snip off any protruding ends of the wire.

Step 10

Apply the glue to the hollow in the clasp. Insert the outer T2. Hold it or secure it in place until the glue dries.
