Linked necklace on a chain with PRECIOSA Tubes

If you enjoy using the eye-pin linking technique, this project has something for you. It uses the bigger and stronger PRECIOSA Tubes with a larger hole. These seed beads come in three sizes: 40 x 3 mm, 50 x 3 mm and 60 x 3 mm.

Step 1

The necklace

Put a T4 on an eye pin. You will need about 8 to 10 mm of wire to twist it around the end of the point, depending on the length of the pin. You can snip off any excess wire as needed. Grasp the edge of the protruding wire between the points of the needle-nosed pliers. Twist it around the points. This will create an eye. Gently bend the eye back around the edge of the T4 so that it is centrally positioned above the hole of the T4.

Do the same with all T4.

Put all the PB on an eye pin. The eyes should be twisted at 90° in relation to one another (one eye flat, i.e. in line with the PB, and the other vertical

Connect the T and the PB using an 8mm ring. String 2x T of the same length and the vertical eye of the PB. Connect 6x T4, 6x T5 and 6x T6.

Step 7

Connect the created pendants to the chain using the 5mm rings. Snip off any unnecessary length of the chain (the example uses 54 cm). Find the central link. Hang a T6 pendant from it. Hang another pendant from every fifth link. Hang the T5, T4, T6, T5, T4, T6, T5 and T4 in a mirrored sequence on both sides.

Step 8

Attach the carabiner and counterpart to the end links.

The earrings

The earrings consist of a T4 pendant. Connect the pendant to an earring hook.
