Tools

A base material – plexiglass or wood, glass, stiff paper.
A hand drill; double-sided adhesive tape; a retractable knife; needle nose pliers; a chain, a carabiner for hanging, at least 5 mm rings; colorless varnish in a spray can.

Procedure

Step 1

Stick the self-adhesive tape to the base material in the shape of a circle, a rectangle or a square so that the tape covers the entire surface.

Step 2

Use the retractable knife to cut the self-adhesive tape into the required shape.

Drill a hole at the edge of the base material.

Use the retractable knife to cut the required shapes into the self-adhesive tape (spirals, geometric patterns, etc.).

Step 5

Remove the backing tape from part of the self-adhesive tape and gently sprinkle the microbeads in the selected color onto it.

Step 6

Continue in the same manner. Remove the backing tape in sections and select the color of microbeads as needed.

Step 7

Spray the finished product with the colorless varnish to ensure the better adherence of the material.

Step 8

You can hang the hanging on a chain using a carabiner.
