Materials

18 mm and 30 mm eye pins; 14 mm and 40 mm eye pins; a small oval; a 4 mm or 5 mm ring; earring hooks; a silicon earring stop

Needle-nose pliers or pliers with a rounded point and snipping pliers; two pairs of flat-nose pliers; a small ruler

Procedure

Step 1

String the PB onto a 14 mm eye pin. Create an eye from the protruding wire. Grasp the end of the wire between the points of the round-nose pliers. Hold the wire with the pliers and smoothly twist the handle of the pliers with your right hand (or whatever hand is the most skilful). At the same time, hold the PB and the wire between the thumb and index finger of your other hand. The wire will gradually twist around the point. Close the wire to form an eye. In order to ensure that the eye is located centrally above the hole of the PB, use the pliers to gently bend the eye back and twist the wire at the edge of the hole. Grip the oval in the flat-nose pliers, thread the created eye onto it and close the oval using the second pair of flat-nose pliers.

Step 2

Prepare two piles of R. One pile of R1. The second pile of all the R2 shades. The R2 can be placed arbitrarily in the pattern.

the 4th row – 1x R2 + 3x R1

the 1st connecting rod – 4x R2 + 5x R1

the 2nd connecting rod – 3x R2 + 6x R1

Step 3

Start from the bottom row. String 4x R, the oval with the PB and 4x R onto a 30 mm eye pin. Make a second eye. The eye should be the same size as the first one. You can use eye pins with two types of eyes – small and large. You need 7-8 mm of protruding wire to create the small eye and 8-9mm of wire for the large one. If the wire is too long, snip it to the required length. Having made the eyes, twist them to the same level. You can adjust this with the pliers. At the end, incline the eyes towards each other using the pliers.

Step 4

String the necessary number of R onto the eye pins for the next rows. Use 18 mm eye pins from the rows with 4x R. Adjust the length of the protruding wire. Incline both eyes downwards.

Step 5

Use 40 mm eye pins to create the connecting rods. At one end, string 1x R, the eyes from the individual rows and 1x R between them. Add 1 more R behind the eye on the top row. Secure the end of the eye pin with an earring stop. String the second connecting rod. Shorten the protruding wire. Make an eye. Remove the stop from the first connecting rod. Shorten the wire and make an eye.

Step 6

Thread a ring through the eyes of the connecting rods. Add the eye of the earring hook. Close the ring.
