Seed bead heart of PRECIOSA PermaLux

Delicate, playful and full of love. That is the seed bead heart in the color of PRECIOSA PermaLux. Make a heart according to our tutorial that will bring pleasure as a gift or will become a perfect accessory for everybody who loves beadworking and original jewelry.

Material

Bracelet – a 5 mm ring; small ovals, for example 3.4 x 4.7 mm; a round adhesive jewellery end-piece with an internal diameter of 1 mm; a carabiner; a counter-ring

A 0.,25 mm silicon line; a thin needle; an 0,8 mm cord, for example waxed cotton; a ruler; flat-nosed pliers; glue for a combination of absorbent-non-absorbent material; a long eye pin or rivet

Procedure

Step 1

The bracelet

The overall length with the fastening is 18.5 cm.

String the 60 cm line into the eye of the needle. String 11x R10 onto the line (the black line in the drawing). Move the R10 about 10 cm from the end of the line. Make a stop bead out of the last R10 and thread the line through it one more time. Create interconnected "squares" out of 4x R10 (the red line in the drawing). Connect and add R10. Release the last R10. Complete the 1st row.

Step 2

Pass the line through the top R10. Add 3x R10 to every second "square", keep the arch slightly loose (the black line). Add R10 so that 4 complete "squares" are created in the 2nd row (the red line). Emerge from the top R10.

Now string one arch of 3x R10 (the black line). Add R10, so that 2 complete squares are created (the red line). Emerge from the top R10.

Now string one arch of 3x R10 (the black line). Add R10, so that 2 complete squares are created (the red line).

Step 5

Add the circumference of the heart between the "squares". Add 1x R10 at a time. Add 1x R10 to the point. Only pass the line through the corners. Start threading through the heart's circumference again. Create a loop between the R10 and thread through it twice. Tighten. Pass the line through several R10. Once again create a loop and pass the needle through it. Tighten. Pass the line through several R10. Cut it off. Pass the line through several R10 and the end of the line from Step 1. Cut it off.

Step 6

Use the flat-nosed pliers to slightly open a 5 mm ring. Thread it through the central hole between the R10 in the hollow of the heart. Close it. Add the 2 ovals to the ring one after the other.

Step 7

Cut off about 25 cm of cord. String 12x R6, the upper oval next to the heart and 12x R6 onto the cord.

Step 8

Place the cord and the strung material against a ruler. Shorten the cord to 15.5 cm. Both ends should have been freshly cut. You can influence the length of the bracelet with the length of the cord.

Step 9

Apply the glue to the hollows of the end pieces using the eye pin. Insert the ends of the cord. Leave them to dry.

Step 10

Attach the carabiner and the counter-ring to the eyes on the end-pieces.

Step 11

The necklace

Repeat the procedure as for the bracelet up to Step 10. Snip off 2x 12 cm pieces of chain. Use the ovals to connect them to the eyes on the end pieces. Attach the carabiner and counter-ring to the last links of the chain.

Step 12

The earrings

Create 2 hearts according to the tutorial up to Step 6. Attach the earring hooks, instead of the second oval.
