Necklace sewn using PRECIOSA Terra Intensive colors

The PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads™ range now has an extended color base. We present the new pallet of 11 PRECIOSA Terra Intensive colors. We offer this pallet of intensive colors on 3 selected bead shapes, specifically on PRECIOSA Rocailles in the 3 sizes of 10/0, 8/0 and 6/0 and also on PRECIOSA Farfalle™ and PRECIOSA Twin™ seed beads.
We have prepared a tutorial for the Chantelle sewn summer necklace as an example of their use.

Procedure

Step 1

Cut off about 1.3 m of thread. Alternately string 6x R10 and 6x T approximately 70 cm from the end. Sew them into a circle so that the needle emerges from the T. Sew through the top hole of the same T. Don't cut off the longer end of the thread. You will use it to complete sewing the opening after inserting the IM - see Step 10.

1

Step 2

Gradually sew in 6x R6 between the T.
Tighten the seed beads. Sew through them one more time in a circle as this will strengthen the work.

2

Step 3

Gradually sew in 6x T between the R6.
Tighten the seed beads. Sew through them one more time in a circle so that the needle emerges from a T.

3

Step 4

Sew through the top hole of the same T and gradually sew in 6x R10 between the T. Tighten the seed beads and sew through them one more time in a circle so that the needle emerges from an R10.

4

Step 5

String 1x R10 and sew through the following R10. Continue the procedure until the end of the row.

5

Step 6

Once the last R10 has been strung, sew through 2x R10 (1x R10 from the previous row and 1x R10 from the existing row). Sew through the last added R10 in a circle one more time.

6

Step 7

Sew through 1x R10 and 1x T.

7

Step 8

Gradually sew in 6x R10 between the T.

8

Step 9

Once the last R10 has been added, sew through the following T and 1x R10, which you added at the beginning of the existing row. Sew the thread in and cut it off.

9

Step 10

Insert 1x IM into the opening on the second side. Follow Steps 5 to 9 to complete sewing the top of the ball.

10

Step 11

The needle should emerge from an R10. String 3x CH, 1x R10 and 3x CH and sew through 1x R10.

11

Step 12

String 3x CH, 1x R10 and 3x CH. Sew through 1x R10, 1x T and 1x R10.

12

Step 13

String 3x CH, 1x R10 and 3x CH and sew through 1x R10.

13

Step 14

String 3x CH and sew through 1x R10.

14

Step 15

String 3x CH. Sew through 1x R10, 1x T and 1x R10.

15

Step 16

Gradually complete the circumference of the ball according to steps 13-15 with the exception of the last insert. There, gradually sew in 3x CH between the R10. Sew in the thread and cut it off. Sew the remaining 14 balls in the same way.

16

Step 17

Alternately string 16x S and 15x sewn balls onto a wire. The stringing begins and ends with an S. Create a loop on the ends of the wire. Insert the rings and the fastening into the loops.
