Material and Tools

Materials

End pieces (a cylinder with an eye at the end) with an external diameter of 3 mm (the earrings) and 2 mm (the bracelet); a simple earring hook; a small carabiner; 4 mm rings; a counter-ring

Tools

A thin needle (sewing the PB and R); a satin braid at the width of the 10 mm flower (light blue or white); a tailor's needle (sewing the braid); a thin tailor's thread (light blue or white)

scissors; a ruler; glue for absorbent x non-absorbent material; flat-nose pliers

Procedure

Step 1

The bracelet
Prepare 12–14 flowers from the braiding.
The length with the fastening is as follows: 14 flowers – 18.1 cm,
13 flowers - 16.9 cm and 12 flowers – 15.7 cm.

Cut one petal from each of the outer flowers. Sew the tailor's thread to the petal with the needle. Thread the needle through the petal and tie off the end of the thread.

Step 2

Then twist the entire length of the thread along the petal. Tie off the ends of the thread again. Place the knots towards the cut off edge of the petal. Shorten the ends to about 2 mm.

Step 3

Apply a little glue to an end piece using the tailor's needle. Then clean the needle. Insert the twisted petal with the aid of the tailor's needle. Correctly twist the eye on the end pieces, so that one is flat and the other is perpendicular to the base. Leave them to dry.

Step 4

Sewing on the PB. Prepare a doubled thread. Make it as long as you wish. Thread the thread onto the thin needle and fold it in half at the needle's eye. There are grooves on the textile flowers indicating the petals and the centre. Thread the needle from the front at the intersection of the grooves between two petals and the centre. Thread the needle through the opposite intersection of the grooves from the back.

Step 5

String 1x PB and 1x R. Thread the line through the PB again from above. Tie off the ends of the thread with three knots. Shorten the ends of the thread to about 1–2 mm. Sew on all the flowers in this way.
