The Museum of Glass and Costume Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou is once again looking forward to welcoming visitors.
Entry will be free for everyone during this week up to 31st May. And what about International Children's Day on 1st June? The museum will be open! Read more about the special tickets, the modified opening hours and other organisation matters.
On Saturday 30th May, the doors will also open at the Fox Hut in Kristiánov. Take a trip to the Jizera Mountains. You will be fascinated by the place where the glass entrepreneur J. L. Riedel built a glassworks 250 years ago and where a small settlement surrounded by dense forests subsequently arose.
Acces to the glass crystal from 20th June
The Jablonec museum is also preparing its glass extension for the public. At the same time, it can now also offer a relaxation zone and a revitalised park right next to the museum building.
The first part of the crystal, which will house a presentation of light fittings as part of the International Triennial of Glass and Costume Jewellery in Jablonec, will open on Saturday 20th June. This day will also see the opening of the main TRENDS.DESIGN.PRODUCTION exhibition where new products from the areas of glass, costume jewelry, original jewelry design and light fittings from 80 brands in 8 countries of the world will be presented - and Preciosa Ornela will be part of it.
We will present our glass specialities from both the PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads™ and PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Glass™ production brands. Come and take a look
