Glass is our history, present and future. That is the motto of this year’s biggest Crystal Valley event to date, which will take place in Liberec at the end of the summer holidays.
The Crystal Valley Week will be an extraordinary event for both Czechs and foreign tourists.
We invite you to the large Crystal Valley Week glass festival, which for the second year running will offer displays of glass production in the city centre, glass installations in the streets, exhibitions, a special crystal market, a light show, music and entertainment.
Don’t miss taking a ride on the historical tram where you will find figurines in dresses adorned with crystals from Preciosa Components.
You can ride it on the Viaduct-Lidové sady, Zoo line.
Preciosa Lighting will offer a display by one of the best contemporary glass cutters in the world, Mr Ivan Pátek, on Dr E. Beneš Square.
The Light and Crystal exhibition will take place in the Liebieg Palace.

Preciosa Ornela invites you to the Made in Jablonec fashion show, which will take place from 5 pm on 29.8.
Preciosa Beauty will also offer a presentation and the sale of beautiful crystal jewellery and decorations at a stand there on 29.-30.8.

For example, the premises of the art nouveau Post Office café will house works by five well-known master glassmakers. They are Petr Kuchta, Miroslav Liederhaus, Petr Novotný, Jiří Pačinek and Martin Štefánek. Moreover, three of them have also invited their talented relatives to exhibit.
The fashion designer Liběna Rochová will present both her work and that of her students and graduates at the Liberec Tram Depot. Visitors can also look forward to guided tours of the newly reconstructed Liebieg Palace with a focus on the wonderful chandeliers that can be found there. The combination of exotic plants with glass and music with molten glass will be a surprise and a small secret gift that the organisers have not yet revealed.
Young and old alike will be able to try out the work of the glassmaker and costume jeweller with their own hands during the Crystal Valley Week and there will also be original pieces of jewellery and glass products for sale.
