Costume jewellery made from glass pyramids

The slim glass pyramids can be used according to this new Preciosa Ornela tutorial to easily and interestingly combine the components for a necklace, a bracelet or earrings with the new PRECIOSA Villa™ beads which stand out excellently thanks to their various types of surface finishes. The very low position of the hole in the bead enables the connection of individual beads and sewing around them with small PRECIOSA beads and seed beads. This bead supplements the line of fashion and popular costume jewellery accessories and unveils further options in the production technology used for pressed beads. It is suitable for all types of surface finishes. The edges of the pyramids especially stand out in opaque colours or when used with all-over surface finishes.
We wish you much inspiration when working with Czech beads and seed beads and joy from your own creations.

Procedure

Step 1

Prepare the basic components by stringing 4x V. Put them together according to figure no. 1 and no. 2. Thread the needle and the line through all four beads once again, connect both ends of the line with a double knot, pull it into the holes in the beads and cut them off.

Step 2

The earrings

When creating the basic component consisting of four V, also string two loops of the fine chain. Thread an earring hook through the free loop in the chain. Also connect the bottom of the bead (V) to the created component. String 1x R11 onto the needle and line, thread it between the connected 4x V, string 1x R11 again and then thread the needle and the line back once more. Connect it to the earring hooks (fig. no. 2).
