Spring petals and flowers in pastel colors

Enjoy the pleasant springtime mood of budding petals and flowers. Create petals in the delicate pastel colors of PRECIOSA seed beads. Procedure

Step 1

The bracelet and earrings

12 sewn petals and 6 metal petals are hung on a chain. The length of the closed bracelet is about 17.5 cm.

String 1x IP and 5x R. Tie off the ends of the lines.

Step 2

Thread the line through 3x R. Create an eye. String 4x R. Thread the line through them again with the R from the base. Thread the line through the remaining 2x R by the IP. Pull the second end of the line into the IP.

Step 3

String 3x R, 1x IP and 3x R on the side. Thread the line through the R on the opposite side of the IP.

Thread the line through the last R from the newly strung beads. String 1x R. Thread the line through the R next to the IP. Proceed according to Step 3. Thread the line through the R on the opposite side of the IP. String 1x R. Thread the line through the first R from Step 3.

Step 5

Thread the line through the last added R. Add 2x 1 R (peyote stitch) at every alternate R. Add the point. String 7x R. Thread the line through the 6th R. String 5x R. Thread the line through the R next to the IP. Add 2x 1 R at every alternate R.

Step 6

Add 5x 1 R along both sides of the petal using the peyote stitch. Sew 1x IP to the top R at the point.

Step 7

Add 5x 1 R along both sides of the petal using the peyote stitch. Thread the line through the top IP. Sew the line in. Hide a simple knot in the R or a double knot in the IP.

Step 8

Create all 12 petals (4 in each shade).

Step 9

The length of the chain is about 20 cm. Attach a carabiner to one end and link 1x IP to the other.

The length of the decorative chain is about 15 cm. Place the petals as you wish and according to the size of the chain links. Open a ring and connect each petal's eye with a chain link.

Create the earrings. Each petal hangs from a ring on a 3 cm chain. The other end of the chain is connected to a hook.

Step 12

The flower

You need 3 petals and 6x IP for one flower.

Use Steps 1, 3 and 4 from the bracelet.

Use the peyote stitch on the sides. Once again string 3x R, 1x IP (the fourth) and 3x R at the top.

Use the peyote stitch on the sides. Once again string 3x R, 1x IP (the fifth) and 3x R on the top.

Use the peyote stitch on the sides. Create a point from R at the top. String 7x R. Thread the line through the 6th R. String 5x R.

Use the peyote stitch on the sides. Sew 1x IP (the sixth) to the top R.

Use the peyote stitch on the sides. Thread the line through the top IP.

Join the 3 petals. Thread the line through the lower 3x R once. During the second thread-through, also connect the side R from the 5th R in Step 1 (the bracelet).
